Get to know the Origin

As a first post, i just want to make it clear to everyone why i started this blog out of thin air. As im sitting infront of my work desk, with nothing to do, i started visiting random video gaming websites and reading garbage that is called journalism these days. It left me with a grim face.

Im a frequent visitor to N4G, GT, kotaku, IGN, gamespot, and other gaming sites, and i had my fair share of contribution to their daily visitors count.

Now its my turn to get something in return.

From the get go, i want to inform all of my readers that this will be a blog with many many grammatical errors of the english language, part due to me being a Bosnian Serb who grew up in the Balkan, and moved to the US about 10 years ago. So, to be honest, i could give a rats @$$ about wrong spelling, capitilalization, etc etc. I dont proof read half of my work in school :X

Either way, i started this blog to give a proper gamers opinion on certain topics that just seem too fanboyish by most of the gaming sites on the internet. I understand there are guys out there who try not to give biased opinions, but sometimes, common sense and logic just outweighs their opinions, and im here to support that theory.

That Logic can prevail over idiocracy.

Here, you wont find game reviews. Maybe in the future, but for now, it will be opinion pieces on new technology, gaming related topics, and contradicting arguments i believe would be worth a listen. I promise, the second i notice an article getting views when it shouldnt, it will be disected here.

I hope you get the feel of my blog by now.

As for the name origin, my friend and muah tried to create a website back in the day, to try and give fairest reviews of video games on the internet, however, we just couldnt find time.

Tank & Gank is an MMORPG term for a team of guys who try to defeat a boss, by having a very high defence and HP character (TANK) distract the boss and get hit, while the other guys pummel him (GANK) from all sides.

Basically, we wanted to get a video game, and gank it from all sides to disect it, break it down from all angles, and really give you a game for what it is. Numerical values seem to take away from games these days, and im sure you can prove that yourself by recalling one game you enjoyed that just wasnt receiving any worthy critical acclaim.

Well, hopefully, this blog will give you a more insightful view on certain topics that might be of interest to you, and il try my best to be fair about them. Im sure i will get alot of disagrees, angry fanboys, loyal servants, and so on, but i believe thats a good thing. Im pretty sure i can take the heat and stay in the kitchen, whether its hells kitchen or not ;)
